Guide review schedule
Every public guide is checked against its linked primary sources before publication. Urgent health, medicines, benefits, legal rights, care funding and safeguarding pages are scheduled for a six-month review. Lower-risk practical pages are scheduled within twelve months. A guide is reviewed sooner when an official source, service, law or safety recommendation changes.
The checked date means the editorial team compared the guide with the sources shown; it is not a claim of clinical or legal approval. The next-review date is a backstop, not a promise to wait. Link monitoring, reader corrections and official change notices can trigger an earlier review.
When a material correction could have changed a decision, the update log will name the affected page and explain the change. Routine link, spelling and presentation maintenance may be grouped.
