User testing and participation
The site has been designed for people in later life and relatives who support them, but no completed programme of representative user research is claimed. We want to test finding a guide, choosing the correct nation, reading at high zoom, using only a keyboard, saving a guide and printing a checklist.
Future sessions should include older people with varied confidence online, carers, people using screen readers or magnification, and people with mobility, hearing, memory or language barriers. Participation must be voluntary, accessible and based on informed consent; testers should not be asked to disclose medical records or passwords.
People interested in giving feedback can use the feedback or webmaster route. Public updates will distinguish informal feedback from structured moderated testing and will record confirmed improvements rather than publishing personal details.
